CIM high performance coatings and linings are used in applications ranging from roofing and decking to tanks and reservoirs. A continuous 60-100 mil layer of CIM is easily applied with a squeegee, roller, trowel or spray equipment, with minimal surface preparation. Seamless application reduces installation and maintenance labor dramatically. Successful field applications have been in constant service since 1970.

Tank Lining

CIM tightly adheres to all tank surfaces, providing a flexible, elastomeric barrier to water and chemical attack. For steel and concrete tanks and pipe linings, for potable water, chemical effluents, and cooling water.

 Corrosion Protection
CIM provides 4-season protection against water and corrosion on concrete pilings, cooling tower bases, slats and supports, loading bay fenders, silos, ship decking and other marine structures, plus steel or reinforced concrete subject to harsh chemical atmospheres including secondary containment systems.

  Ponds and Reservoirs

CIM assures watertight containment on virtually any scale from wash tanks to reservoirs including potable and agricultural water systems, collection basins, flumes, spillways, hatcheries, dam faces, tank farm containment and decorative ponds and fountains over rough soils, pavements or concrete liners.

Decks and Pavements
CIM combines abrasion resistance and waterproofing to protect against water and corrosion on bridge, pedestrian and parking decks, protects utility flooring in severe applications such as food processing plants, wineries, sugar and salt refineries, animal stalls, water and sewer treatment plants and chemical plants with acidic and basic reagents.

Environmental Systems

CIM forms an ideal barrier to aqueous solutions including drainage ditches, catch basins, mine drainage, sewage treatment lagoons, sanitary landfills, even where paper mill effluent or spent acids are present.

Roofing

CIM cold applied roof coatings create a waterproof barrier over plywood, metal, concrete, insulation board, foamed insulation, and BUR.  CIM forms a seamless roof system around vents, penetrations and irregular shapes.  CIM is also an excellent gutter material.

CIM cements and adhesives are commonly used with traditional modified and built up roof systems.  CIM cements cure to form watertight seal around penetrations (pitch pockets), base flashings, terminations, and vertical seams.  CIM adhesives are used to adhere insulations boards, cover boards, base sheets, cap sheets and single ply membranes.  Other advantages for roof applications include fast cure times, low odor, low VOC's, tremendous bond strength, and cold application.
